The EMC IT staff has setup another helpdesk utility that will be available
to external collaborators for data and model related requests:

 emc.external.helpdesk@noaa.gov. 

Please also feel free
to list this email address on any websites that generate such inquiries.
Once a request is received it will be forwarded to the appropriate group
for a response. In addition, we are able to setup any project in this
helpdesk tool that requires you to interact with clients outside of
NOAA. It can track requests and provide a knowledge base for common
inquiries.
